20 Years in the Industry
Chris Manning is a graduate of Methodist University in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in business, and a concentration in marketing. He worked a short time for companies such as Ready Mixed Concrete and Highland Lumber before stepping out into his own business endeavors of residential development in 2000.
Since that time, he has built in North Carolina and South Carolina and is a standing member of the Home Builders Association of North Carolina. Over the past 20 years, Chris has also purchased and developed several residential subdivisions, multi-family units, and commercial buildings.
Widening the Nets
In 2001, Chris formed a real estate company with his wife, Deana, titled Manning Realty. The company marketed over 3,200 new and existing homes before becoming Chris Manning Communities.
Rooted in Horry County
Chris opened the office for Manning Realty at the Beach in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina in 2014 and Grand Harbor Realty in 2016. In 2020, Chris' construction, development, and real estate divisions merged to become an all-in-one powerhouse in the residential market: Chris Manning Communities.
The Mannings reside in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with their three children Hadley, Harper and Hudson. Chris and his family are active members of New Spring Church. Chris serves on the Board of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Chris has been involved in the development of more than 5,500 residential units, with a
combined value of more than half-a-billlion-dollars since the year 2000. Chris has maintained a constant presence in local markets and creates value in all phases of the real estate cycle by providing both investment and service-oriented businesses.
